Sure, it isn't a matter of life or death, but it's really, really annoying. You need to perform 2 steps each to swap to 64-bit version or. If anyone has any suggestions for solving this issue, you would be saving my life. There is second method that make the WMP 11 圆4 as the default media player for the Windows Vista. Searching online gave me no clues, so I'm hoping someone here has firsthand knowledge. I have also tried uninstalling the K-Lite Codec pack, thinking it might be a problem of switching between MP3 and FLV, since both are on my playlist, even though I have had it for years and never experienced problems before. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling WMP twice. I have tried downloading different types of visualizations online, but they suffer the same fate. (the program still thinks it's turned on, apparently, as it doesn't change the settings to 'no visualizations' or 'album art only') When the visualizations stop working, the Random tab in Alchemy is still selected. I turn them on again by right clicking, choosing Visualizations, and selecting the Random tab in Alchemy, though I've tried changing to other types as well. Constantly fixing this is really annoying. I can turn them back on again by choosing a different type of visualization, but without fail they will always switch off again eventually. The visualizations in WMP randomly turn off, and display a white screen with a musical note in the middle instead. Alright, I have a super irritating problem which I can't find help for ANYWHERE online, so here goes.
